I agree- it is mostly for scam purposes. I doubt whether i ever met any true person there, one guy from europe asked me to make a visa for him and for my bank account details.
An interesting thing i’ve noticed there- most of requests for chatting/correspondence come exactly at one time- i can get 15 mails, for example, right at 8 AM, just being online for 20 minutes, from different users. But if i leave my page opened at any other time- there are zero requests. How to explain that so many people from different countries write emails all at the same time?
Mate1 is mostly for having fun, when ur working on pc too much and have nobody to bother u. But if u have any clear expectation…forget. And it turned out to be too boring to communicate with men there- they suspect girls being scammers or b..chs being unable to communicate in a normal way.

Boy, is that site ever a scam, profile always shows 0 views but get all these chat requests and emails from people that claim they like your profile. Anyone w/half a brain can tell it’s all coming from some type of script.. .answers don’t even make sense to the questions I asked them. Too freaking funny! I only joined because I got sick of seeing the add on my FB page…glad the cc I have them expires next month, ha!

These strippers also claim that webcam.com is a partner site to Mate1 and everything is above board. THIS IS THE WORST DATING SITE I HAVE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH. I was constantly bombarded with fake users! STAY CLEAR – especially if you’re male!

I’d have to agree with the above poster. Scam, scam, scam. I have also checked out Viviansguide.com as well, all I can say is HOT women, most of them verified and pre-screened. I would either go with this site or with a site like Plentyoffish.com where dating is free.

Mate 1 is a scam, never met one real person off this site. I didn’t even set a photo and I already had a couple e-mails in my box and people wanting to chat with me. In my opinion, total scam.

I have now switched to a site called Viviansguide.com, they screen each girl before you meet them, its really a high class site with really classy women, met a couple great women off there. Its also half the price of mate1.

Yes Watch out. Mate1 is a scam! I didn’t complete my profile and the immediately get over 21 emails from girls all over the country and none of them fit my partial profile. Plus I now get tons of requests to chat, all fake of course from the same dialog script.
