It is a nice site ,but I would prefer to give more specific questions , whom u wanna meet ,where nationality,everysingle tiny information,,,,,questions here r more general….I would loved if I were asked exectly whom do I wanna meet where,which country.it does help.I m on this site 1 yr and I didnot meet my mate.If I were helped where can I find I could ve send a mail and it finished…………………amany…….some of us work day and night and we donot ve that much time to search.ex.in S A it so difficult to meet an American or Canadian in the street so the only way is to find them through yr mate here….and I m badly in need to get to meet one in Jeddah .amany thank u

Mate1 is a bait and switch scam. Plain and simple.

mate1 banned me becasue someone (?) complained about me. why? no idea. no explanation from them, no chance to defend myself…unfair. didnt bother to reply to my emails seeking reasons…very rude.

I joined Mate1 and paid for about 6 months. I found that there are many profiles and emails with general information. Mate1 lists my inbox as having over 500 messages. I checked and none of them reply. Many are the same people and I am sure they are ‘fabricated’.
I found that Mate1 is a scam.
POF is by far the best I found so far.
