Happy Singles Make Attractive Singles
Are you lonesome, having had a few relationships in the past, but anxious to find the next Mr/Ms Right? Or do you take life in its stride, not worrying too much about whether your next partner is round the corner?
If you’re in the latter category, congratulations! If you’re not worried about meeting a future partner, there’s no way you’ll come off as desperate, so you will naturally be more attractive, and will have an increased chance of succeeding at that goal. If you’re in the former category, help is at hand!
Being single is sometimes very lonely. You’ve been out on the town every night for the past week, and still you haven’t met someone. You can’t remember the last time you kissed anyone. Life sucks! However, maybe it’s not so bad. Have you ever been in a bad relationship that you knew wasn’t good for you, but just couldn’t bring yourself to end it? I bet you really wanted to be single then! If you haven’t had that experience yet, just look at the number of people around you that have separated, divorced, and split up. That could be you one day, or may already have been you, so life could be worse!
What you need to do is to forget about the opposite sex for a while! By this, I don’t mean that you should not flirt with them when you see them and they are receptive. This is, after all, a site about flirting, which we are here to encourage. What you need to do is to do something you’ve been wanting to do for a while that’s not about finding a new person to date.
Let’s think about the person who will be your next potential date. What will they see when they look at you? Maybe they’ll be attracted to your looks at first, if you’re lucky, but that won’t last. Confidence, yes, you need that, and that will make you more attractive. However, what will they really find attractive? Someone who goes to work, comes back from work, and flops in front of the TV? Or someone who fills their time with a passion who is always on the go doing something they love?
If you have problems with your life, such as a bad job, nothing else to do, and are depressed because of it, you need to sort yourself out. A date isn’t going to do it for you. A partner won’t do it for you. You are responsible for sorting out problems like this that you may have. Finding your next partner just isn’t the answer to all your problems. It’s easy for me to say, I know. I hope to write some articles about motivating yourself soon.
Think about what’s going on in your life that’s good! The things you enjoy doing, try to do more of them. Watching TV doesn’t count—they have to be things that get you active, and out there in the big, wide world. Remember, if you just keep doing what you’ve been doing, you’ll only get back more of the same from life, so you do need to change. If you start to see being single as a wonderful opportunity, which it is, you’ll soon be in a committed relationship, thinking how wonderful life was when you were single!
