While browsing through the women’s clothing section of my local supermarket, I came across a T-shirt that had the following slogan:
“I’m on the pull!”
This is a very simple, neat, and effective flirting technique. The wearer of this T-shirt is indicating that she is open to approaches; that she is single and available; and she is also providing an excellent opportunity to start a conversation, because you’re already giving men something to comment on!
Any funny or to-the-point slogan like that that makes it obvious that you’re looking for a date will be useful in attracting men. It won’t be appropriate for all settings, of course, but at most parties and pubs, this should work wonders for getting approaches! Men still need confidence to approach you, but you should find that you generate quite a bit of interest by using a T-shirt with a slogan such as this. Make sure to couple it with open body language (see other articles on this site for details) and you’ll definitely generate interest.
To kick off our new section on fashion tips, I thought I’d give some advice to our male readers on how to look good for dating and flirting.
It’s no secret that women generally know far more about fashion than men do. They know what to look for to size a man up; they can tell the difference between a pair of Gucci shoes and a pair from Wal-Mart or Asda from about 67 miles away!
You need to take care of your appearance. Looking smart is a good idea, as long as it’s not out of place. You don’t necessarily need to be wearing fashion labels from the top of your head to the tips of your toes, but if you’re wearing some decent clothing, it will stand you in good stead. Make sure you take care of the basics! If you’re wearing a tie, make sure it’s done up. Don’t button up a jacket that’s obviously too small for you; it will draw attention to your weight.
Pay attention to your grooming, as well. Nails should be clean and neatly trimmed; hair should be reasonably neat; you should also either be clean-shaven, or have a tidy beard of uniform length. These are the typical things that help women find men attractive, but of course, you may well have developed your own personal style, so if you have found something different that works, go with it! In general, the metrosexual approach works; look after yourself and you will be perceived as more attractive.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be paying more attention to both men’s and women’s fashion here, from head to toe. We’ll be keeping each article fairly brief; mostly, fashion boils down to common sense, and hopefully our readership will add their own tips periodically.
