I’ve decided to start a forum for flirting and dating discussions. You can find the link to the new forum above. This will be excellent for anybody who has a specific question, or wishes to provide some information that is not already on this system!
The success or failure of a website depends entirely on its users. I have been blessed with some good comments from many of you, yet I do sometimes lack the time needed to write for this site, as has happened recently. Also, the format of this website does not easily permit people to ask me, or anybody else for that matter, questions.
I would love to create a thriving community of people who can help each other out with flirting and dating techniques, and I believe that process will be facilitated by the introduction of the new forum!
You need to register for the forum separately from the main part of the system. The main system is run by Wordpress, and the forum by phpBB, and the two systems don’t talk to each other!
Let’s get together and turn Flirt-Coach into the definitive Internet website for flirting advice!

If you’re almost, but not quite, at the stage where you’re ready to say “I love you” while dating, why not say the words in another language? Imagine how you will come across—cosmopolitan, romantic, suave, sophisticated and creative. Your date will certainly appreciate the time it took you to learn to say these words, especially if you use several languages!
Use common sense when deciding upon the moment to use these while dating. I think it’s best to use these when you are getting interested in someone, but you are not ready, or it is to early in the relationship, to say the three words in English. It will have the meaning, but take the edge off the potency of just saying, “I love you.” Don’t ruin your date with them, whatever you do! Either try to work them into a poetic context, or just say the words on their own; perhaps even whisper them into your date’s ear, for maximum flirting potential! Some of these are commonly known, but others are more obscure.
En français (French): Je t’aime
In italiano (Italian): Ti amo
En español (Spanish): Te quiero
Auf deutsch (German): Ich liebe Dich
In het Nederlands (Dutch): Ik houd van u
Em português (Portuguese): Eu te amo
Make a stab at pronouncing them in the language in question, and as long as it doesn’t sound like you’re saying them as if they were English words, you should be OK. Alternatively, if you do say them as if reading English words, it may make for some light comedy, which will give an entirely different effect!
To kick off our new section on fashion tips, I thought I’d give some advice to our male readers on how to look good for dating and flirting.
It’s no secret that women generally know far more about fashion than men do. They know what to look for to size a man up; they can tell the difference between a pair of Gucci shoes and a pair from Wal-Mart or Asda from about 67 miles away!
You need to take care of your appearance. Looking smart is a good idea, as long as it’s not out of place. You don’t necessarily need to be wearing fashion labels from the top of your head to the tips of your toes, but if you’re wearing some decent clothing, it will stand you in good stead. Make sure you take care of the basics! If you’re wearing a tie, make sure it’s done up. Don’t button up a jacket that’s obviously too small for you; it will draw attention to your weight.
Pay attention to your grooming, as well. Nails should be clean and neatly trimmed; hair should be reasonably neat; you should also either be clean-shaven, or have a tidy beard of uniform length. These are the typical things that help women find men attractive, but of course, you may well have developed your own personal style, so if you have found something different that works, go with it! In general, the metrosexual approach works; look after yourself and you will be perceived as more attractive.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be paying more attention to both men’s and women’s fashion here, from head to toe. We’ll be keeping each article fairly brief; mostly, fashion boils down to common sense, and hopefully our readership will add their own tips periodically.
